Part one deals with our capability to concentrate in our everyday life. Mike's brain has to make sure that Mike always concentrates on the right thing. If it doesn't, lots of things can go wrong for Mike. Strong emotions or distraction can mess with his brain's ability to focus. Fatigue is another important concentration killer. Good feelings, on the other hand, can enhance Mike's concentration. The film shows how different situations during the day influence Mike's ability to concentrate.
